The Italian Competition Authority welcomes you to the webpage of the International Conference "EU Cooperation for enforcement of consumer legislation", which will take place in Rome on 7th-8th July 2014. The Conference - organized under the Italian presidency of the EU – will be hosted by the Italian Competition Authority and the Ministry of Economic Development, in cooperation with the European Commission.
During the Conference sessions, discussions will focus on the European political perspective, Member States' national perspectives, on the possibilities and opportunities arising from the Consumer Protection Cooperation Regulation and on e-commerce issues, consumer legislation and e-commerce challenges.
The Italian Competition Authority looks forward to welcoming delegates from the European Commission, from EU and EFTA Member States, from national Consumer Protection Authorities and European consumer organizations, stakeholders, scholars, and Non-Governmental Advisors. The official languages of the conference will be Italian and English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided to and from each of the languages.
